This is a rare pack-in that actually made me want to play it. Every level shows off the DualSense in different ways. Haptics, adaptive triggers, motion controls all feel purposeful instead of gimmicky. It’s a love letter to PlayStation wrapped in a great platformer.
You’re never just pressing a button. You’re squeezing springs, strumming cables, skating across ice that buzzes under your palms. It sells the hardware without feeling like a tech demo. Tight platforming keeps momentum high, and movement variety keeps each level fresh.
The platforming is actually good on its own. Each level feels distinct, and the controller features never feel forced.
Team Asobi nails the nostalgia without being obnoxious about it. Little bots cosplay as classic moments while you find hardware relics. Seeing all the old consoles and peripherals hit different when you grew up with them.
The game is clean and cheerful. Each area represents a PlayStation era, the soundtrack is playful, and even after seeing every reference, the presentation stays delightful.
An absolute joy all the way through 100%. It’s a quick playthrough, and every PS5 owner should play this. Best pack-in game ever made!
